What the audit surfaces

A complete 30-point audit across your ad platforms.

The focus is on the gaps that move ad spend in the wrong direction, the kind with a real P&L impact.

01

Value-based bidding readiness

Is Google Ads bidding on revenue or profit? Are dynamic conversion values wired from the product feed? Does Enhanced Conversions have the margin data it needs?

02

Meta CAPI deduplication

Are your pixel + CAPI events deduplicating properly? Is event_id matched? Are you inflating ROAS with duplicated conversions?

03

Consent Mode v2 configuration

Is Consent Mode firing before consent is granted? Is modeling behaving as expected? How much conversion visibility is being silently dropped?

04

Server-side tracking gaps

Is sGTM in place? Are events being enriched server-side? Are you sending user_data to CAPI in a compliant way?

05

Offline conversion pipeline

For lead generation: is Enhanced Conversions for Leads wired? Is GCLID being captured and routed to CRM? Are closed deals being pushed back to Google, Meta and/or LinkedIn?

06

Cross-platform consistency

Do GA4, Shopify/checkout, and Meta CAPI report the same purchase counts? Where do they diverge, by how much, and why?

The 0–100 Quality Score

Trust becomes a number you can quote.

Every audit produces a single 0–100 score, weighted across six dimensions. You get the composite score, the six sub-scores, and a written explanation of what's dragging each one down.

Event accuracy
Events fire correctly on intended triggers. No missing events, no misfiring, and no duplicated events.
25 pts
Parameter coverage
All required parameters are captured (value, currency, content_ids, transaction_id, etc.) with correct types.
20 pts
Value-based readiness
Ad platforms receive profit-shaped conversion values instead of plain revenue. SKU margin or feed-based value routing is in place.
20 pts
Consent & Compliance
Consent Mode v2 fires in the correct sequence, modeling behaves as expected, and CAPI payloads are GDPR-compliant.
15 pts
Cross-platform consistency
GA4, ad platforms, and source-of-truth (Shopify, CRM) agree on counts and values within tolerance.
10 pts
Documentation & Naming
Naming conventions are consistent (GA4 snake_case, Meta PascalCase). A tracking plan or dataLayer spec exists and matches reality.

Recent outcomes

What past audits have surfaced.

DTC Apparel · UK · €2M ad spend/yr
€38k/mo
Wasted ad spend on low-margin SKUs
PMax was optimizing on revenue conversion value. Product margin varied 8× across the catalog, and the bidding model was scaling the least profitable products. Fix: dynamic conversion value from product feed margin.
B2B SaaS · Switzerland · Lead-gen
3×
MQL-to-SQL rate lift
Meta lead ads were optimizing on form fills, and Enhanced Conversions for Leads wasn't wired. Fix: closed-loop CRM → Meta CAPI pipeline. Six weeks later, Meta was bidding on prospects who go on to close.
Fintech · Portugal · EU market
41%
Conversion visibility recovered
Consent Mode v2 was firing after the CMP loaded, so half the visitors' consent decisions were happening before the tags could listen. Fix: reorder the script load and verify modeling behavior, all done within a week.

FAQ

Common questions about the audit.

Why €500? Why not free?
Free audits attract tire-kickers and don't get read. €500 is a real commitment that filters for prospects who are serious about doing something with the findings. It also pays for four hours of senior tracking work, delivered as something your team can act on immediately.
What if you find no critical gaps?
If the quality score comes back above 85 and no critical gaps are surfaced, you get 100% refund. The guarantee is there so you don't feel like you're gambling.
What access do you need?
Read-only access to GA4, GTM (web + server), Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and your CMP dashboard. We don't need write access or admin permissions. If you can't grant read access directly, we can walk your team through a screen-share instead. It's the same audit, but slightly longer.
How is this different from the free Tracking Checker?
The free Tracking Checker scans your site's public-facing tags and returns a red, amber, or green report card in 60 seconds. The paid audit goes deeper: it reads your actual GTM containers, Meta CAPI event streams, Consent Mode configuration, product feed structure, and CRM integration. It then quantifies the euro impact of each gap, and delivers a written report you can take to a Head of Growth or CFO.
Do you fix what you find, or just tell us what's broken?
The audit is scoped as findings only, so we don't fix during the audit. Every critical gap in the report includes a fix path so your team can address it in-house if you prefer. If you'd rather we handle the fixes, the report doubles as the scope for a fixed-price project. Most Audit → Project conversions happen in the first 60 days after delivery.
Can we get a re-audit later to measure progress?
Yes. Re-audits cost €300 (40% off the first audit) and re-score the same 30-point checklist. Most clients follow this path: an initial audit, an implementation project, and then a re-audit about 30 days later to confirm the fixes held.
What if we're an agency, not a brand?
Audits for agency-owned client accounts cost the same €500 and follow the same checklist as any other. If you're running audits across multiple client accounts, ask about the Partner Program: the wholesale rate applies to audit volume too.
How fast can we get started?
You'll get a same-day reply, a confirmed scope within 48 hours, and the audit delivered within 5 business days of access being granted.
